TrustTheBench is an open-source evaluation forensic initiative dedicated to algorithmic transparency. We do not sell personal data, track users across third-party networks, or inject invasive tracking scripts. All analytics are strictly privacy-preserving and non-invasive.

1. Information We Do and Do Not Collect

TrustTheBench is architected to prioritize user privacy and minimize data intake:

  • No Account Requirement: You do not need to register, provide an email, or create an account to browse benchmark analyses, filter model metrics, or use the Benchmark Advisor.
  • Client-Side Storage: Your theme preferences (e.g. Light mode vs. Dark mode) are stored purely on your local device via local storage and never transmitted to our servers.
  • Contact & Feedback Submissions: If you voluntarily reach out via our contact or feedback forms, we collect only the information you explicitly provide (e.g. name, email, feedback comments) solely to respond to your inquiry.

2. Privacy-First Telemetry & Analytics

We run a self-hosted, lightweight internal telemetry system solely to monitor platform health, route performance, and geographic distribution.

  • We do not store personally identifiable IP addresses in raw query logs.
  • We do not share telemetry logs with ad brokers, cross-site trackers, or data aggregators.
  • You can disable telemetry tracking by enabling Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser.
